As with every state, North Carolina has all sorts of exciting educational activities occurring all the time. Last week, the Board of Education just announced a new online course that will help teachers to understand student behavior better.
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has partnered with a number of other organizations to create the course called “Understanding Student Behavior in the Classroom.”
Available online, it will help teachers to have a better understanding of behavioral issues and health issues in the classroom. It helps teachers to learn positive ways to deal with behavior issues; to better understand student behavior; and to help teachers to nurture each student and his needs.
This is just one example of the many educational programs and initiatives being spearheaded in North Carolina. Certainly, more will be implemented to help students to achieve and to foster growth opportunities for teachers.
